gebioMized Foot/ Insole Pressure Mapping System – (B)

$6,750.00

The GP Cycle measurement system enables you to dynamically record planar pressure inside a cycling shoe. The pictures of the pressure measurement contain information on the stressed points inside the shoe, helping the user/fitter to fine-tune the shoe–pedal connection. The images may also assist your customer when choosing  both off the shelf and custom insoles and helping them to select the most comfortable shoe.

If performance parameters need to be included, this system allows you to analyze the load that is transmitted to the crank at any time during the pedalling cycle. Based on this analysis it is possible to detect left-right differences.

Each of the measuring soles contains 32 sensors and the data are wirelessly transmitted and saved to your computer. This ensures the cyclist’s stability during the measurement.  The maximum measurement frequency is 200Hz; information can thus be gathered with high precision.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Displaying of the results though a colour code or a 3-D pressure chart
  • Cue-play and return features for the pressure measurement data
  • Individual definition of foot-areas for which maximum values and power curves can be displayed
  • Colour printed report

COMPLETE REPORT

A complete, color report is produced including:

  • Mean Pressure across the foot
  • Foot pressure in each zone (by zone)
  • Max pressure values and locations on the foot
  • Left and right side pressure and force comparison

Description

Foot pressure measurement takes your bike fitting to a new level. With this precise and dynamic measurement technology, you can analyze the pressure conditions at the foot contact point in high resolution and real time – a crucial basis for greater efficiency, comfort, and individualization in the fitting process.

The gebioMized foot pressure measurement system records the pressure inside your cycling shoe while riding and provides you with detailed pressure images that reveal weak points or asymmetrical loads – information that is difficult or impossible to measure with conventional methods. You can pinpoint exactly where overloads occur, how movement patterns behave, and what effects different materials, settings, or positioning have.

This data opens up a multitude of application possibilities: For example, you can specifically select the optimal cycling shoe for your customers or individually optimize the shoe-pedal contact area – be it through clever cleat positioning, the choice of the right shoe model, or finely tuned sole geometries. PUSH cycling insoles can also be precisely selected or custom-made using the measurements to stabilize foot position and improve power transfer.

The system isn’t limited to one discipline: whether road bike, mountain bike, triathlon bike, gravel bike, city bike, or e-bike – the software supports a wide range of bicycle types and offers real added value for both beginners and ambitious athletes. Integrating foot pressure measurement into your fitting allows you to identify individual biomechanical characteristics, address discomfort more effectively, and sustainably improve overall performance.

With over 1,000 bike fitters worldwide who rely on this technology, the gebioMized system has long been an international standard – and is continuously being developed further. This allows you to actively contribute to making the connection between human and machine even more harmonious and to inspire your customers with a highly precise, data-driven fitting experience.
