Description
The ‘GP Bike’ measurement system enables you to map, analyze and evaluate an individual’s saddle pressure and their weight distribution. The system is a thin and flexible pressure mat made up of 64 sensors. The data is transmitted wirelessly to a PC or Laptop, enabling you to take both indoor and outdoor measurements.
The mat is applied over the saddle and the cyclist positions themselves on it without changing their riding style. In this way the pressure distribution on the saddle can be measured statically and dynamically. A colour scale graphically displays the pressure distribution in the different areas of the saddle and is a valuable visual aid when communicating with the client.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Enables the measurement of pressure distribution in different positions and weight distribution
- Allows you to compare different saddles
- Displays the results through a colour coded or a 3-D pressure chart
- The features enable the analysis of asymmetries and phases of loading
- Provides a colour printed report (including pressure values and the saddle’s position)
COMPLETE REPORT
A complete, color report is produced including:
- Average pressure across the surface of the saddle
- Front and rear saddle pressure (pubic bone v’s sit bone)
- Max pressure values and their location on the saddle
- Left and right side pressure comparison
- Center of movement and pelvic tracking pattern
- Gross angle of pelvic hemisphere alignment
